Carelift Management Advanced
Resume: Participants are trained to become a team of peer leaders with extended product competences. They train in how to teach their colleagues proper body mechanics and product use, to work as problem solvers, to conduct RISC analyses, and to handle difficult problems related to lifting and transferring clients/patients. Furthermore, they are trained in how to foster a positive cultural change and a better working environment.
Focus and Means
The Guldmann CareLift Management ADVANCED seminar is an extension of the CareLift Management BASIC seminar, and focus on a selected group of participants, who are especially skilled. Through a two day seminar, the participants are turned into a team of peer leaders, who can ensure a continued positive development in the organization.
Dialog, discussions, the RISC analysis, case studies, work shops, role plays and practical training are the means, which teaches the peer leaders to advise, help and train their colleagues in areas concerning lift and transfer of clients/patients. The peer leaders develop competences, which give them the opportunity of ensuring a continued empowerment of the personnel, through a positive cultural change and maintenance of the basic competences.
Goals and Competences
The goal is to ensure the peer leaders a level of competences that enables them to handle difficult lifting and transferring situations in a safe and comfortable way, and to help and advise their colleagues, and act as role models for them at all times. Furthermore, the goal is to develop the peer leaders’ competences to handle difficult challenges regarding lift and transfer of clients/patients work as problem solvers conduct RISC analyses and find the best possible solution give new attitudes and work procedures liability carry out product training with colleagues communicate on a level that makes it possible to carry out the things mentioned above
